On March 11, NYS Governor Kathy Hochul announced plans to direct additional funding to SUNY day care centers, including the Viking Child Care Center at Hudson Valley Community College, to create high-quality child care centers across the state.
The additional funding will be used for interns and accreditation at the Viking Child Care Center, according to Alycia Courter, executive director of the HVCC Faculty Student Association.
